Meramec Caverns

We stopped off at the Meramec Caverns on the way through Missouri, and you guessed it, it was hot as usual.

Luckily it was a lot cooler in the caverns. Jesse James once hid out there apparantly. Our tour guide was funny, in the fact he wasn’t funny at all, which incidentally made him much more funny. funny really.

Yeah, and there were loads of chairs down there in case they had a big event. Looked a bit like a Jenga puzzle to me. Must have been annoying carrying them all down there.

Haha, Meremec Caverns. We stopped by here thinking that you would be told interesting tales of gangs of outlaws etc. No, instead we had a Fred Savage lookalike for a guide and a commentary that would’ve been suited to a geology trip! Good times!
